Welcome to the Crochet Magic Blog Hop

Hey, crocheters! Welcome to the Crochet Magic Blog Hop – your one-stop destination for a daily dose of crochet goodness! We’ve all experienced that moment while learning to crochet when it really clicks, transforming yarn and hook into something truly magical. That’s the inspiration behind our theme: Crochet Magic. Because once you master the basics of crochet, it opens up a world of creative possibilities that can feel downright enchanting. If you’re new to the concept of a blog hop, let me break it down for you.

Here’s how it works: Every day during this blog hop, we’ll be unveiling a new pattern suitable for beginners – these are great for sharing with new crocheters and for experienced crocheters to whip up in no time. Along with each pattern reveal, we’ll also share a special code that grants you access to the pattern either for free or at a discounted price. These patterns are free or discounted for just their featured day.

Each day, with a fresh code in hand, you’ll be directed to a designer’s website where you can find one of these buttons:

If you are directed to Ravelry, click on the BUY NOW button and enter the coupon code from this post at checkout. Or you may be directed to download the pattern straight from their website, or have it sent to you in an email. In this case, you may not need a code at all!

You’ll also find these buttons, which you can use to get back to this post for the next day (or for the code if you discovered us from their post).

So, be sure to bookmark this page and check back daily for the latest pattern of the day. Whether you’re a seasoned crocheter looking for fresh inspiration or a newbie eager to dive into the world of crochet, there’s something here for everyone.

Get ready to be amazed by the magic of crochet one stitch at a time. If you have any questions, feel free to comment here and we’ll help you out. Let the Crochet Magic Blog Hop begin!

  1. How long will the blog hop run?

  2. I am following this Blog Hop. Am I allowed to mention it to my viewers on YT and let them know how to find your website?

  3. Just letting you know that the Day 8 link to Helen’s Coasters goes to the Day 7 pattern ‘Flower Lace Plant Covers’. However, I was able to find it by going directly to Ravelry.

  4. Your link for the Helen’s Coasters Pattern when clicked on it directs us to the Flower lace plant cover.

Why is the link for the Coasters Pattern not linking to any coasters?

Please fix the link today Monday April 8, 2024 so we can get directed to the correct item use the code.

    • This link was fixed much earlier in the day of this comment so it should have been working. I extended the code until the end of the week. You might have to hold your CTRL button while you refresh the page for the link to work. Thank you so much for commenting.

  5. The pattern for April 9 is not free, as advertised. You get halfway through the process to get it, then it’s a long schpeel to sell an online crochet course that’s $17. And it says your free resource is on its was, but mine stopped at 50%. And there isn’t a “no thank you” option. You just keep scrolling through multiple attempts to sell this course.
Not cool. I don’t need that particular Octopus badly enough to pay $17 for a course I don’t want or need.
If you want people to buy your course, designer, then just say so and don’t offer any discount on anything in a blog hop.

    • I will look into this to find out what happened because as far as I know, there was an option to get the pattern for 50% off and the course that was advertised was not part of this hop. I will find out and get back to you about it. Thank you so much for letting me know.

    • Hi, I just clicked on the link to see what was going on and if you scroll down the page to the image that says ‘Click here for free PDF’, like the example in this post above, it takes you to this page – https://www.pocketyarnlings.com/octopus where you can fill out your name and email address and you’ll get an email with a link to download the pattern, (mine arrived within seconds of filling out the form). It’s a very detailed 29 page step by step guide with photos. Try again and you’ll probably love it. 🙂

      • Still not having luck, but maybe it’s going to a different folder…? I don’t know, but I really appreciate the attention you are giving my comment. Have a great rest of the week and blog hop!!

  6. Love your patterns and thanks so much for sharing. Have a lovely day.
